Women in Ag - Connecting. Celebrating. Growing.

North Carolina is proud to be a diversified farming state—approximately 32.5% of North Carolina farmers are female. AgCarolina Farm Credit is committed to recognizing women within the agricultural industry, a demographic that continues to grow.

Celebrating Women in Agriculture

There is something magical about providing an opportunity for women in agriculture to connect, laugh and learn together. Therefore, a conference is hosted each spring to celebrate and recognize women in agriculture.

In March 2023, AgCarolina Farm Credit hosted its 4th annual Women in Ag Conference. This year’s conference was at Rose Hill Plantation in Nashville, North Carolina, and featured knowledgeable and inspirational speakers, including Amanda Radke and Jolene Brown.

On November 28, 2023, AgCarolina Farm Credit will host a wreath making class exclusive for our Women in Ag at The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina in Willard, NC. Attendees will create a locally gathered, one-of-a-kind homemade wreath to proudly decorate your home during the holidays. These wreaths are approximately 24” – 26” and made with locally foraged items like Juniper, Pine, Magnolia, Firs, Cedars and more. Limited space available.
